Project Description
11 miles of State Route 63 in NY DOT Division 4 was in need of resurfacing. Standard repairs of a concrete pavement would have included deep joint repairs and cost the taxpayers over $600,000. District 4 decided to add FORTA-FI reinforcement fibers to the 2” composite overlay.
Update
After 5 years of heavy volume traffic this project has been inspected and remains in excellent condition.
