Project Description
BJ’s Wholesale Club is a membership-only warehouse club that relies on Helix Micro Rebar in its location expansion across the Eastern United States.
MER Engineers chose the reinforcement over the original design of 6×6 W2.9 mesh for the concrete tilt-up panels in new store locations. The switch to 15 lb/yd3 of Helix Micro Rebar resulted in concrete with 30% more durability, 221% more strength and 20% faster than if they had chosen mesh.
