The unique, twisted design of Helix Micro Rebar 8-52 allows for efficient tensile stress redistribution within the concrete prior to concrete cracking. This pre-crack property is coupled with solidly stable post-crack performance. The post-crack performance is optimized for the requirements of standardized beam tests. Helix Micro Rebar provides proactive reinforcement coupled with unheard-of resistance if a crack were to occur.


Helix® Micro Rebar® is an innovative concrete reinforcement technology made up of 1-inch, twisted steel elements that are blended uniformly into the concrete mix. Because each piece is twisted, it creates a mechanical anchoring effect—very different from the friction-based interaction found in conventional steel fibers. Think of it like driving a screw into wood rather than simply pressing something against the surface.
This mechanical bond plays a key role in stopping micro-cracks from developing and spreading. By distributing reinforcement in every direction throughout the concrete, it forms a dense, multidirectional support network.
