Project Description
A brand new 20,000 seat soccer stadium for Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer, required an alternative reinforcement method for several areas of construction. This $150 million project utilized FORTA-FERRO® for slab-on-ground applications and terraced seating areas. The use of fiber allowed for a safer work environment by preventing trips and falls that often come with the use of steel rebar. The concrete finishers noted that FORTAFERRO® was extremely easy to place, finish, and broom. Overall, the use of FORTA-FERRO® in Allianz Field helped to reinforce the positive reputation the fiber has with project owners and contractors.
