Project Description
Poppoff, Inc., a concrete contracting company, utilized FORTA-FERRO® to reinforce a 6” slab-on-ground application for their shop addition. FORTA-FERRO® aided in crack control and also helped to reduce slab curling. The first project pour contained two saw cuts and the second pour, around the center support columns, contained no joints. The fiber showed no issues distributing into the mix leading to a smooth finish. Due to the success of the project, owners decided to utilize FORTA-FERRO® as their reinforcement method for their concrete projects going forward.
