Project Description
This control vs. fiber project for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) placed fibers in both the base and wearing courses. On-site personnel were very pleased with FORTA Voyager’s performance at the plant and did not experience clumping issues at the job site. Over the next few years, FDOT will evaluate the project to analyze the extended pavement life cycle provided by FORTA-FI reinforcement fibers.
