Project Description
A 1 and 3/4-inch mill and fill on Waccamaw Drive, this South Carolina DOT two-lane roadway project used FORTA-FI X2 to address cracking and water damage in pavement more than 20 years old. With the roadway subject to ongoing traffic demands, X2 was a strong fit for the application. By helping to reduce cracking, extend service life, and improve overall pavement durability, the fiber supported a longer-lasting repair and helped protect the value of the roadway investment.
